Therapeutic Approach

Each of us is unique

I do not think there is such a thing as a one-size-fits-all therapy.  I believe therapy can offer an opportunity to find clarity, to better understand overwhelming experiences, as well as to grow from difficult times.

I specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety, their relationships, dealing with feelings of anger, and coping with traumas. Regardless of the struggle, I believe the most important piece of therapy is tailoring each individual’s therapy to their unique needs in order to assist the growth and change necessary to feel better. In our work together, I will assist you in developing insight and awareness around the cause of these uncomfortable emotions as well as strategies and skills to better manage those moments and live a more fulfilling life.

I use and eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction to inform my practice and the way I work with people.
